This release possibly contains my finest work— Worth the Weight and Love, Treat me Tender are both songs that I am terrifically proud of. They were labours of love and I have many fond memories of playing them for friends, strangers, babies, and all sorts to the kind of response that my standard fare never got.

Both songs were conceived by way of an exercise. They were almost lab-grown to fit a very exact mould for the sake of replacing a certain other set of songs in my repertoire, and in so doing have surpassed the goal substantially. I'm truthfully quite surprised to have been able to make something that felt so good, so true, out of what feels like a factory setting. Maybe I'm starting to mature as an artist. Maybe I'm just conceited. Who's to say they aren't one and the same?
